During the breastfeeding stage some women can experience a reduction in milk supply which can make it hard to keep up with babies demands. There are a few common factors which can contribute to the decrease of milk production and it can sometimes come down to quite simply feeling stressed or anxious.

Thankfully there are some essential oils that can help, the main one being Fennel oil which promotes milk production and prevents clogged ducts, infection and thrush. Therefore we have included Fennel within our breast care oil but also blended Lavender to infuse and combine the milk-production qualities of Fennel but with the soothing aromas of lavender to create a luxury floral oil blend.

Apply and massage between 3 – 8 drops of oil to the breast area (but not directly onto the nipples) in the morning and evening.

    5 days post-Birth, breastfeeding was important to me to establish with my newborn. I always hear people talking about having low supply and not being able to keep up with their hungry baby. I wanted to make sure I was as stress free and calm to allow my milk to come in but I imagined with sleep deprivation and a new baby, this would be impossible. Using this breast oil has been a godsend, my milk came in bang on day 3 and seeing my sons milk drunk face has just made me so proud of what my body is doing. I believe the aromas of this oil has really helped me relax and enjoy this special bond without any complications.
